The Santa Monica High School Band program presents their annual Bands on the Road concert benefiting the Samohi Band program. Coming February 3. 2026 to the John Adams Middle School Performing Arts Center, Bands on the Road offers an evening of iconic music, an exclusive wine auction, silent auction items, and delicious concessions while showcasing the talents of 100 student musicians under the direction of Kevin McKeown. This year’s concert titled Collective Resonance, will feature performances by several small ensembles performing intimate instrumental chamber music in addition to performances by the prestigious Samohi Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble.
For nearly two decades, Santa Monica public schools have offered a preeminent music program that is open to all students beginning in fourth grade and throughout their middle and high school education. Our ensembles have performed all over the world in renowned cities like New York, Rome, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, and London. Bands on the Road directly benefits the Samohi Band program.
