Santa Monica High School Band presents the inaugural Bands on the Road, a concert benefiting the Samohi Band Tour Fund. Coming February 6th to the John Adams Middle School Performing Arts Center, this new event will feature performances by the Samohi Band Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble with a special guest, The Lincoln Middle School Wind Ensemble.

Bands on the Road offers an evening of iconic music, an exclusive wine auction, a quilt raffle, silent auction items, and delicious concessions. Showcasing the talents of 150 student musicians in a state-of-the-art venue under the direction of Kevin McKeown and Salvador Muñoz, it promises to be a magical evening to remember.
For nearly two decades, Santa Monica public schools have offered a preeminent music program that is open to all students beginning in fourth grade and throughout their middle and high school education. Our ensembles have performed all over the world in renowned cities like New York, Rome, Belfast, and Dublin. Now, this spring the Samohi Wind Symphony will travel to Seattle for a music festival and cultural tour.
Bands on the Road directly benefits the tour fund ensuring every student can participate in these once-in-lifetime opportunities and also provides assistance to offset staff and equipment travel costs. Your ticket purchase as well as your generous contributions to our specialty fundraisers make these extraordinary experiences possible.
